► Analyzed 90+ fuel samples daily (Marine Diesel Oil, Marine Gas Oil, Heavy Fuel Oil) via Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES).
► Developed a more efficient workflow; reduced a calibration standard deviation to 0.0001 ppm from the nominal value by treating variables as a mathematical function rather than fixed values; designed a simple iPhone calculator app to speed up the standard preparation even further.
► Performed troubleshooting and repairs on Spectro Ciros Vision (ICP-OES), PerkinElmer Avio 550 Max (ICP-OES), and sample delivery systems (Teledyne Cetac Technologies ASX-560).
► Trained two team members on ICP-OES operation.
► Analytical methods: ASTM D7111, ASTM D482, IP 501.
